I've bought the little oatmeal packets that are the one serving, like apples and cinnamon, or what have you, where you zap it for a minute with some milk and you're good to go. That usuall...I agree with the raisins and cinnamon. That usually adds enough sweetness so it's not just a bowl of blah goop. I hope it works out better for you next time! <br />One small thing that I do to eat a little healthier is read the labels when I'm shopping. I don't buy anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup or any Partially (or completely) Hydrogenated Oil in it. It can take extra time, but once you know which items are ok it goes quicker. I tried! We found steel cut oats to be very yummy; it has a better texture and it's still oatmeal, just cut instead of rolled. I usually add brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, milk, and walnuts.
